In this daylong teaching, we will study and practice this commonly known but rarely explained prayer of the Verses of the Eight Noble Auspicious Ones or Tashi Gyepa, composed by the great Nyingma scholar, Jamgön Mipham.

This powerful invocation originates back to the Sūtra of the Eight Auspicious Ones from Buddha Shakyamuni instructed to one of his disciples in order to deflect fear, protect from harm and dispel obstacles. It is both a timeless and timely prayer in our present day.

On a worldly level, invoking the names of awakened beings brings auspiciousness and success on one’s endeavors. On a spiritual level, it sets the circumstances for our practice to thrive.

The sets of eights include: The Eight symbols, the Eight Healing Tathāgatas, Eight Bodhisattvas, Eight Goddesses, the Eight Worldly Guardians, and their respective implements.

Drubpon Pema Rigdzin (Lama Freddie), will offer the oral transmission, a line-by-line explanation, and lead an accumulation of the recitation to fulfill the aspirations and prayers for oneself and the world.

If recited through once before commencing any activity; whatever the project, it will work out exactly as you wish.

Recording will become available to all those who register.
