Lhamen Foundation is a nonprofit religious organization that serves as a vehicle for the activities of Drubpon Pema Rigdzin (Lama Freddie) — a Dharma teacher in the lineage of Lama Tharchin Rinpoche, a healer, and chaplain — and a group of supporting volunteers.

Our name combines two Tibetan words: lha — deity or divine, and men — medicine. It is also an abbreviation of men gyi lhamo, the Medicine Goddesses who manifest alongside the Rishis to bridge healing, knowledge, and wisdom to all those with aspiration, connection, and respect for seen and unseen forces.

We offer teachings and guidance on the gradual path of Vajrayana Buddhism, including meditation instructions, retreats, pilgrimages, and translation of sacred texts.

Dharma Activities

Spiritual Healing

We offer individual and group spiritual healing ceremonies and trainings from the wisdom traditions of Central Asia and the Himalayas.

We offer interfaith spiritual and emotional support while bringing awareness to the end-of-life process. We are committed to creating a learning platform for chaplaincy and palliative care providers in assessment methods from these wisdom traditions.

Sacred Texts

We are dedicated to preserving and bringing authentic translation of the Buddhadharma to practitioners including sādhanas, commentaries, rituals, and liberation hagiographies.
